Residential Habilitation

Residential Habilitation provides supervision and training to help individuals acquire, maintain, and improve activities of daily living (homemaking, personal care/hygiene, social, & adaptive skills) to promote independence and to meet individual goals. We understand that each person has unique needs and goals, which is why we take an individualized approach to our care. Our trained staff provides compassionate support and assistance with daily living activities to help our residents live their lives to the fullest. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable home environment.

Life Skills Development 

Our life skills development program is designed to help individuals build the skills they need to live with greater independence and confidence. We offer a range of services to help individuals develop these skills, including community inclusion, cooking classes, socialization activities, public transportation training, job training, and more. Our team is deeply committed to helping each individual succeed, and we work closely with family members, caregivers, and other support networks to ensure their success.

Adult Day Training

Adult Day Training programs support the individual to engage in valued experiences within the community, including community resources, self-advocacy in a work-like setting, and job exploration that are individually appropriate.  At Akachi, our goal is to promote personal growth and build self-confidence for our clients. We strive to offer a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can learn and expand their horizons.

Behavioral Services

We understand that behavior challenges can be overwhelming and stressful for an individual and their support system. Our team's behavior analyst is dedicated to equipping you with the necessary skills and tools to successfully manage challenging behaviors. Whether it’s setting up structured routines or implementing evidence-based interventions, we work with you every step of the way in reaching your desired outcome.

Respite Care

Respite Care provides supervision & training for individuals whose primary caregiver is unavailable due to a brief planned or unplanned (emergency) absence, or when the primary caregiver is temporarily physically unable to provide care.
